These images are of William Washington “Big” Higdon and his wife Lydia Jane Moore.
Jack Moore got these image files from Deanne Gibson Roles, who is a descendant through "Big" Higdon.
Lydia is a sister to Jack’s great grandfather Andrew Jackson Moore, Sr.
William Huffman Higdon and Jane Buchanan Higdon are the parents of William Washington Higdon (b. December 27, 1841).
These two images appear to be an early form of a photograph known as a tintype.
