Above is a digitally repaired & restored image of Leonard Higdon & Mary Ann McClure with a simulated background canvas drop cloth and a substitute tintype frame. In my mind this is an excellent photo repair & restoration image. Of course the image above is a best guess, based on available information as to the style of the tintype frame and the style of the background canvas. With the clothes and faces no guessing was involved, the faces and clothes are original with relatively minor post-processing.
