
Mina Higdon Floyd is the daughter of Dolly and Edd Higdon. Mina is a descendent of Samuel Higdon from North Carolina. She married Robert “Rob" Floyd, Jr.
Mina is a business woman; she and her husband Rob owned and operated a store in Georgia. Mina was employed by the federal government at the Atlanta Army Depot for ten years. She has been very active in civic and professional organizations. At one time, Mina co-chaired the Miners Queen Pageant Committee that selected and prepared contestants for the Miss Tennessee Pageant. All of Mina's family have been very supportive of The Higdon Family Association.
