Welcome to the Higdon Family Association (HFA) website. Our HFA offers help for any and all Higdons, and all who are related to Higdons, who want to study the genealogy of our Higdon family.
This Higdon gristmill was located on what is now Ellijay Road in Macon County, North Carolina. Check Higdon gristmill in the Photo Gallery for a story of interest.

Our next stop was to the Tuckerton Seaport Museum, http://www.tuckertonseaport.org/ is their website. We first viewed at the visitors’ center a short movie about what an estuary is and why they are important. Tuckerton is part of a very large estuary area.
