The Higdon group made trips to the site of the Olympic kayaking trials where a Ranger gave us a very informative slideshow and discussion on the building and maintaining of the waterways for public use and enjoyment. Afterwards the group viewed the area from a variety of angles, riverside, over the brigde, and from the balcony of the park center.
