This Higdon gristmill was located on what is now Ellijay Road in Macon County, North Carolina. Check Higdon gristmill in the Photo Gallery for a story of interest.

The day was warm in the sun, but cool in the shade. The guides and food staff were all very good. It was a nice day to spend touring through New Jersey.
