Welcome to the Higdon Family Association (HFA) website. Our HFA offers help for any and all Higdons, and all who are related to Higdons, who want to study the genealogy of our Higdon family.
This Higdon gristmill was located on what is now Ellijay Road in Macon County, North Carolina. Check Higdon gristmill in the Photo Gallery for a story of interest.

The patchwork of boxes in the middle allow you to go back up one level to the photo thumbnails array which you clicked on to get to a larger view of a single image.
Over at the Boating Museum, each group got a guided tour of the many objects there. New Jersey being on the ocean has many different types of boating opportunities. Besides the ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway is right behind the barrier islands and there are many rivers that feed these bays. While there are many lakes in New Jersey, this museum concentrates on the Intracoastal Waterway and marshes and the boats used there.
