This Higdon gristmill was located on what is now Ellijay Road in Macon County, North Carolina. Check Higdon gristmill in the Photo Gallery for a story of interest.

11/18/16 It’s started again in Rabun County, Ga coming across the GA line into NC. This time it's headed into residential area's not just Forest Service Land. Evacuation of Standing Indian campground has already began.
