Jack Moore from Gastonia, NC found this clipping as he was searching through back issues of the Franklin Press looking for any Higdon references. Jack is a descendant of Major William Huffman Hidgon, whose birthday parties started the 116 year old Higdon Family Reunion in Macon County, NC, where Franklin is the largest town.
