Roni Delayne Morris and Joshua Aron Nickelson were united in marriage on July 12, 2003, at Prigeon Community Center in Franklin, Texas.
The
ceremony was officiated by Mr. Daniel J. Beck of Franklin, Texas, a
special friend of the bride and groom. The bride was given in marriage
by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Morris of New Baden, Texas. She is
the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam H. Morris of New Baden, Texas,the
late Katherine Mitchell Morris and the late Roy Delano Schoonover. She
is the great-granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex L. Higdon. The
groom is the son of Mrs. Becky Nickelson of Calvert, Texas and Mr. Bobby
Jeff Nickelson of Franklin, Texas, and the grandson of Mrs. Wanda
Richardson of Kosse, Texas.and Mrs. Maggie Nickelson of Dallas, Texas.
Andrea Nicole Schoonover, cousin of the bride served as Maid of Honor. The bride's attendants were: Amanda Meadors, Theresa Micklewitz and Kelly Barnett, friends of the bride. Kelsey Branter was the beautiful flower girl.
The groom's best man was his uncle, Jim Huble of El Campo, Texas. Groommen were Timothy Lehr, cousin of the groom, Justin Morris, brother of the bride, and Nicholas Smith, friend of the groom.
